To be more honest, I never anticipated prequels or sequels of FF7 because the original was so brilliantly done. Ah, and the surge of childhood memories of playing FF7 whenever I played Crisis Core, it's so nostalgic... Although I have an idea of what's going to happen in the ending, please don't spoil me because I haven't finished it by the time of this submission
I grew up with FF7 but I never really did a proper fan art of it before. This is just a CG practice
I...I can't choose colours very well. Whenever I wanted to use darker hues I will always end up with much paler colours. Some people are better at working with pale colours...I guess.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Cloud Strife (c) Squenix Open Canvas 3.05e + Adobe Photoshop CS
I just recently finished the game myself. Mind you, I got my copy in Japan, so I had a hell of a time understanding what the hell was actually going on or being said, but I managed. And I love this picture. It's so light and well done. The colors are fantastically chosen, so don't be too hard on yourself. And the simplistic background serves to accentuate the full detail of Cloud. I love it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

I really like the bright KH feel that this has. And I always adore your mastery of hair! Your pieces are always so clean (OMG! CLEAN! 8D) and bright.
The background is simplistic yet it fits in nicely with your style. Well done!
