I have heard about Saber from the Fate/ series but I have never actually known the character very well. What actually made me inspired to do this was when I saw pictures of the Saber Lily Distant Avalon figure (made by Good Smile). I do not collect figures but that figure blew me away, what amazing details it has! I like how the flowing dress and shiny the armor looks and the pose is so strong. The Nendroid version is cute too! I kinda feel like I just had to have either of these :p
Apart from the figure itself I was also inspired by this lovely art: [link] ; it was very well done.
The armor was the trickiest part to colour - I wanted it to be as shiny as the figure but I cannot seem to get look right. D:
I am aware of the details of the sword not being truly accurate to the original, too late to change that now!
I like pictures with "flow" (flapping dresses, petals in the wind etc) so I hope my take is OK. I think pictures like this are still hard to do and it takes lots of practice.

Ahh it loks beautiful :3 i like flappy flowy things too hahaha.
A tip i guess but if you want to make things look shiny like the armour the contrast between white and grey(in this case) needs to be higher. It looked like you blended it so it gave it the soft look instead.

Saber Lily! I fell in love with her design too. You did a great job capturing it, the little details on her dress makes the picture look really nice to look at! And I think you did great on coloring the metal parts too. Beautiful picture! :heart:
