Yes, I know I don't favour updating my journals much, but the previous one is too depressing to be put up here for so long.
I'm trying to keep myself happy by picking up new hobbies, and I think it's working now because I feel more happier compared to last semester. I can't understand why everything seems to go wrong back then. A friend told me I'm being too pessimitic, and I know she's right about that.
Have you ever feel that an entirely different fandom can introduce you to another unrelated one? I can't explain it very well, but to me, it's usually something to do with Japanese/English voice-acting in animation or games. I always end up liking an anime series even though it's not my preferred genre just because I like the seiyuu (VA). I was introduced to The Mr Men Show because there are at least 4 of the VAs who are in SO1, and I think that is somethin! Oh yes, I've known the Mr Men/Little Miss franchise for years, but ths is actually the first time I've got to know them a bit better. I like the classic and the new designs, really.
I think I'm taking longer time to finish my works lately. The SO1 art took me more than a month to finish! Of course I have RL commitments, but I think I'm amazed that I still have the motivation to finish it. I am working on one at the moment, and this one will certainly be added to the "finished in more than 1 month" category again!
Well...yeah. That's it.
And oh, I can't wait for KH 358/2 Days!
The KH DSi design is very LV-ish, but I like it, nonetheless.

Ah, I finally picked up Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for the PS2. 8D I had no idea they had released this for a system that's not handheld. <3
Speaking of hobbies, did you want to do another art trade sometime? I realize they're closed, but I haven't done one with you in a fairly long time now.
The PS2 version should be better than the GBA version, shouldn't it? At least you get to play on bigger screen and easier to mash the controller buttons up! There's two parts of the game in GBA version, and I only finished the first part and totally forgot to play the second one.
Trades? I'd love to, but be warned I may take a loooooong time to finish it this time, because I want to make it special. JK
I dunno if it's better or not. o_o I haven't started playing it yet, but I don't have anything to compare it to since I never played the GBA version. ;__; But yes, big screen will = <3 I totally will be inspired to make KH merch once I've started playing it. ¦D
I don't mind, as always. 8) It may be a while for me, too, because of studies and AP exams next month, but I'd like to at least busy myself with sketching it or something. <3 I will Note you sometime soon. I just have to figure out what I'd like... :3 What do you feel like? One character? Two? Girl? Guy?

I don't want to have a change in mind like in my previous trade! Truth to be told, I'd LOVE to see you draw Ashton (SO2) again, but I also like to see KH works from you. Hm, but your pokemon poll made me interested in seeing you draw Glaceon too!
As far as Sora's voice , I'll give you a shout what it sounds like when I get a chance to play it. 8)
Haha, choosing is the hardest part. XD I'm totally up for 2 or more characters in it. 8) I really need an excuse to practice group pictures/interactions. And you know what? I'd LOVE to try and do a KH picture whether for our trade or not. 8D I know I'm going to end up making one anyways once I play CoM. <3 So what you want is totally up to you. I'd looove to do another picture of Ashton, too, since... well... it's been four years since I drew... this. D: [link]
And Glaceon you can chuck in my art request journal thing so I remember and I'll send you a charm of it or something when I send you the print of your trade. 8)
If that's the case, maybe I won't ask for a KH pic for my part of the trade. I'm not in a particular fangirling mode at the moment so it's tough for me to decide what I'd love to have.
Hmm...I don't think I've seen you drawn girls very much, so maybe I'll ask for at least one girl to be in the trade XD

I could actually start working on the trade soon as long as it's before the winter holidays (July) as I'll be away for a 3-week's field trip during then. Otherwise I can only start on it in August. When do you think the best time you can start on the trade?
You're right - my gallery is lacking in the girls department. XDDD /fail Nah, no worries, take your time. I think I know what I want, but I have to draw reference pictures of them. XD It's this fox-eared guy of mine and a cute little GIRL. Zomagad, what? I have girl characters? XD
Yeah, I'd be comfortable working on something between now and then. :3 Whichever you're more comfortable with as I don't really have any plans outside of Anime Evolution. <3
I would love to tell some sort of story in the trade - not just some character poses. And maybe add some background to it? Of course it's just what I have in mind, if it turns out too difficult to come up with a themed picture, I'll drop this idea. What do you think?
I'm still pretty much in the Star Ocean mood, so I would like to see your version of Millie ([link]), and maybe Ronyx ([link]). Both are from Star Ocean First Departure and are more like friends than couples.
I'm glad that you're feeling happy, though. School can really get a person down; myself included. I haven't felt much like really uploading any of the art that I've done, because...well, I feel like it's just not worth it, ya know? D:
The SO1 English VAs are Alicyn Packard, Katie Leigh, Richard Epcar and Sam Gold. Some of them sound pretty close in the show to their SO1 roles, so they're pretty easy to guess.
